OKO Studio is an artist-run non-profit based in Dayton, OH, passionate about bringing creative ideas to life. We’re all about showcasing unique talent through pop-up exhibitions, curating events that blend art, music, and culture in fresh, exciting ways, and hosting workshops that encourage creativity and skill-sharing. We also publish OK Ohio, a quarterly zine celebrating local artists, writers, chefs, musicians, and innovators—while sprinkling in some national and international influence.

• The symbolic role of light—literal and metaphorical—during long nights, and finding brightness in challenging times.
Cycles and Seasons
• How winter fits into the broader cycles of nature, life, and emotions.
Stillness and Silence
• Exploring the beauty and tension in moments of pause or quiet, and how they affect creativity or connection.
Warmth and Connection
• Seeking community or comfort during the cold, both physically and emotionally.
Dreams and Intuition
• The vivid inner world that often emerges in winter, a time of introspection and imagination.
Transitions and Thresholds
• The symbolic power of winter as a bridge between the old and the new.
